Wardrobe Capsule (for Travel)

We head out for our little vacation to Quebec City tomorrow and I have been looking forward to it since we made the decision and I’ve spent the last couple of weeks planning what to take. I’ve been watching the weather and it looks like we’re going to luck out!

It was rainy this past weekend, it’ll be nice the days we’re there, then rain the weekend after we leave! Lucky us! There are a couple of days with minimal chances of rain, but I’m not too worried!

However, as we are moving out of summer and into fall, the temps go from the lows in the low teens and the highs in the mid/high 20s – so I need to pack for a bit of everything.

Now I did find a pin on Pintetest with this list:

So we’re going for 4 days, so I’m following the 5 day guide above, so this is what I’m taking:

  • Tops: 1 tank, 1 t-shirt, 1 button up shirt
  • Bottoms: 1 pair leggings, 1 pair jeans, 1 skirt
  • Layers: 1 sweater, 1 Jean jacket, 1 leather jacket
  • Shoes: 1 pair white canvas slip ons, 1 pair black leather lace ups
12+ outfit options for 4 days

I’ll probably throw in something for a nice dinner but it’ll probably be minimal – tank dress and ballet flats due to the weather forecast. As much of Old Quebec City is cobble stone and we’re walking everywhere, I don’t want to be walking anywhere with heels.
